Z: data management and collaboration

Fostering collaboration between the different labs working in the CRC1315 is a difficult task. We are working on ways to disseminate information between the different researchers involved. This includes web tools to host the SFB1315 outputs, a SmartFigure gallery and the production of shared research outputs like data, protocols and reagents, using data mangement principles and workflow.

SFB1315 member can access the latest unpublished results for this project on the its smartfigure gallery:

Former neuro-geneticist (10 year of research on fruit fly memory and behavior), I have been more recently interested in data analysis and management, as a specialisation for my interests in open science (open research). I am presently working on ways (technical and social) to implement the principles of FAIR and open data in the lab workflow and ways to foster collaboration between researchers via the SmartFigure Gallery project.
